Which brings us to the final option **choose service**.
For this streaming tool to work you need to tell it what you want to watch.
So to start with lets select the same TV channel we are watching on the TV.
**NOTE:** If you have selected the Show Blinking clock in display during record option to be turned on in the System set up screens the current time will be flashing on the LCD when the e2webif webif streaming is active!
Always try where possible to use the firefox browser for this application. //(I have not tried safari)//
Option 2 - Open VLC via a stream.m3u download
1) Highlight the TV channel in the e2webif webif
1) Allow the download of the stream.m3u file which should automatically open VLC or the HDTV media player you have set up on your computer

**Known issues:**
Always try and use the firefox browser for this application.
- If you try the IE browser make sure you allow the activeX plugin - else it will never try to work
- The current release of google chrome does not work as it should
Not all computers will stream HDTV in the manner due to lack of RAM/processor power. If this is the case
with you please see the next option.
Option 2 - Open VLC via a m3u download
This is a more straight forward way of streaming, and depending on your computer will happily stream
HDTV to your computer.
1) Select a HDTV service for your DM box to play on your TV from you DM boxes e2webif World Wide Web Interface
1) Make sure it is playing on your TV (nothing worse than trying to get something to stream if it does not first work on the TV)
1) Highlight the TV channel in the [e2webif webif]]
1) Click on the SCREEN icon on the right hand side of the highlighted line
1) Allow the download of the video.m3u file which should automaticlly open VLC or the HDTV media player you have set up on your computer
1) Watch TV
