STB Comparison

In these tables below you will find some STB's of which most are supported by OpenPLi, with their technical specifications, real power consumption figures, and the OpenPLi version supported for the model. Please note that this list shows only relevant differences between STB's. Features that are shared by all (like digital S/PDIF audio out) are left out.

*1 Limited means: SD full motion and HD I-frames only (pictures gets updated 1-2 times a second)
*2 This excludes USB harddisk, because they can always be connected regardless. Connectors are (e)SATA unless otherwise noted.
*3 Interlaced means: 1080i50 or 1080i60 maximum output resolution, progressive means 1080p50 or 1080p60 maximum output resolution.
*4 OSD layer is where amongst others the skins are rendered on. The higher the maximum resolution, the more detailed the skin can be, although
resolutions higher than 1280x720 are seldomly used. 720 = 1280 x 720, 1920 = 1920 x 1080.
