Howto set up this DM boxes (webif) world wide web interface

E1 Enigma 1 or E1 menus. Click here for the E2 MenusYes as mentioned here your Dm box is a computer in its own right. As such all DM boxes also have a world wide web site built into them (see example below). On this setup screen we can change some of the setting for your box.

- Web interface port: All httpd or web server operate by default on port 80. Here you can change this port if you want to.
- Use HTTP authentication: If you enable this you will need to use the current user ID and Password on your DM box
- Show EPG in the webif channel lists: Show what is playing on the channel lists you see on your DM boxes web site
- Use Zapstream: If you want smooth streaming from your DM box to you PC then always make sure this is enabled
An example of the world wide web site in your DM box;

TIP: You can forward this web site to the WAN side of your modem/router so you can control your DM box from outside your home i.e. from the office. Simply use your port forwarding option in your modem/router.
