Channel/Bouquet Management

As there are so many types of set top boxes these days we have put this wiki page in to cover the
management of your channels from the TV i.e what you want on your channel lists, how to modifiy, add
delete or move channels for all types of boxes.
Please be sure you are reading about your type of set top box. Click on one of these two (2)
entries to find out what sort of box you have;

then press only your Menu button and you will see this menu screen

Now you can do all sorts of things as per the menu options.
TIP: When you have finished this it is a good idea to restart enigma to ensure your changes are made. To do this press menu|shutdown|restart engigma

A PC Tool for Channel & Bouquet Management - For all E1 & E2 boxes
DreamBoxEdit my preferred tool of choice
This by far is one of the best tools for editing the channel lists and bouquet lists for
all models of DM boxes. If you have not tried it, I recommend you do it.
You can download this PC based application here at the Dream Box Edit web site

One you have it set up, you can make changes to all your boxes. I have done this for all the
boxes here on the home network so the DM500, DM600, DM7020 and the DM800 boxes all have the
same channel lists and the same bouquet lists. This way you can use any box the same way when
watching TV or listening to the radio.
